Overall, this set is in good condition. This edition is limited to 50 (fifty) numbered sets only, of which this is set number 50. There was also a separate limited edition of 150 sets.

A Roman Signer, 1892. Khaled: A Tale of Arabia, 1892. A Cigarette-Maker's Romance, 1892. The Witch of Prague: A Fantastic Tale, 1893. Illustrated throughout. Don Orsino, 1893. The Children of the King: A Tale of Southern Italy, 1893. Previously held in the library of William Hesketh Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme, an English industrialist, philanthropist, and politician. He served as Member of Parliament for the Wirral constituency between 1906 and 1909, as well as being appointed Justice of the Peace for Cheshire and High Sheriff of Lancashire in later years. In the original half red calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing resulting in minor loss to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot or handling mark. Previous owner's bookplates to the front pastedown and endpapers. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
